I am an Emmy Award winning freelance cameraman/Steadicam operator living in Beijing. I have many years of experience producing video, film and still photography projects in Asia.

My goal is always to produce the best possible pictures for my clients.

For 14 years I was the (American) ABC News staff cameraman/editor in China. Since leaving ABC News, I have branched out into several other forms of photography.

In order to make pictures that are more dynamic , I learned to operate a Steadicam. My teacher was Garrett Brown, the inventor of the Steadicam. I have operated Steadicam on feature films,  commercials, documentaries and corporate videos. I own a Mk-V steadicam. The Mk-V is capable of carrying almost any camera you can think of,  from an IMAX camera to a DV camera. And of course, it can handle High Definition.

During my career I have worked in locations that range from the desert wars in Iraq & Afghanistan, to the top of Mt. McKinley, and even under the oceans. I have worked in News, feature films and almost everything in between.
